We are looking for a Analyzer Technician to join our Petrochemicals (CP) team in Port Arthur, TX.

As an Analyzer Technician you will provide technical expertise to the Analyzer Department by utilizing your experience in areas of maintenance, operations and contractor oversight. Analyzer Technicians are directly responsible for maintenance, operation and preventative and predictive activities for the Port Arthur sites’ analytical systems.

**During your shift as an Analyzer Technician, you will...**
+ Working with the Analyzer Supervisor and the Analyzer Technicians. This is to accomplish and document routine maintenance work including
+ Preventative maintenance
+ Regulatory inspections
+ Capitol project assistance
+ Maintenance, troubleshoot, repair and documentation for plant analyzer systems.
+ Support all EHS policies and procedures while promoting a safe work environment.
+ Track and update assigned tasks in maintenance management system (SAP) on daily basis
+ Cover on-call on a 7-week rotation.
+ Be willing to work overtime as required.
+ Will be required to use appropriate PPE per site policy.
+ Comply with all company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
**If you...**
+ Have a High School diploma. Associates degree in analytical/instrumentation preferred.
+ Have a minimum of five years’ experience as an analyzer technician and working at the journeyman level. Petrochemical industry preferred.
+ Are proficient with chromatography and all associated analyzer systems.
+ Have proficiency with Siemens Maxum II Chromatographs preferred.
+ Have a working knowledge of CEMS requirements including but not limited to: CGA testing, RATA testing and associated documentation with minimal guidance.
+ Have a working knowledge of non-chromatography related analyzer systems including but not limited to: Silica, PH and Conductivity, O2, LEL, Moisture.
+ Have ability to read and update electrical and instrument documents such as schematics, specifications, P&IDs and one-line diagrams.
+ Are proficient in use of computers (MS word, Excel, Outlook).
