Your Role: In this role, the hire will engage in Technical Writing, creating templates, rebranding, processing content, content management. Talent will help with re-branding user guides.

This role will be dynamic and fast-paced and will require working cross-functionally with various departments to manage the technical writing requirements for the Life Science Biology group.

Training to be on site.

 

Who You Are:  

Manage the overall coordination of technical writing projects.Responsible for Biology product User guides, letters, and inserts.Excellent oral and written English skills.Planning, time management, organization, and attention to detail.Work with stakeholders to define and set priorities, deadlines, and deliverable schedules.Working experience with tools such as inDesign, Lytho, Acrobat Pro, etcBasic understanding of VBA, Macros, Excel formulas.

 

Basic/ Minimum Qualifications:

Good organization skills, including the ability to be flexible to changing priorities and needs.Excellent verbal and written English skills.Knowledge of technical writing according to APA guidelines.The ideal candidate should have published research papers in indexed journals. (Good to have)Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy combined with proven ability to multitask.Ability to independently prioritize and execute tasks and responsibilities.Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to get along well with others and work in a team environment; includes the ability to work with geographically remote teams and/or projects.Meticulous and can handle multiple assignments.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: University post-graduate degree: MSc in Life science, Biology or related fields Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Zoology, Botany.

Demonstrated knowledge of personal computer software in a business environment including word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications (Microsoft Office platform preferred).

 

Experience: Up to 1 year of technical writing experience

.

ADDITIONAL LOCAL NEEDS

This role requires working in the afternoon shift- 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm.
