International Card Services (ICS) is the leading provider of Credit Cards, Business Financing, T&E Solutions, Supplier Payments, and Cross-Border Payments that help consumer, small, mid-size, and large corporations around the world manage nearly every facet of their business spending. International Card Services Centre of Excellence (ICS COE) is the newly established function within ICS with the mission to unlock growth and enable ICS to become the fastest growing segment within American Express.

 

ICS COE Marketing Analytics (ICMA) team sits within ICS COE and is the analytical engine that enables business growth across international markets. This is an outstanding opportunity in a high visibility role that will work very closely with marketing and sales teams within ICS COE and across international markets to provide meaningful analytics and actionable insights to help drive “customer marketing investment optimization” and create “customer engagement and retention” strategies.

How will you make an impact in this role?

Build iCMV’s for proven customer treatments like supp, upgrade, companion, lending (Plan It, Loan, Pay Over Time etc.) and SBO cross sell. Partner with     finance and other stakeholders to enable roll out. Power iCMV usage for investment optimization and measurement across ICS markets. Define the next steps for growth of AD trigger success across lead 4 markets in collaboration with local market leadership.  Own the retention frameworks – pre-attrition & SAC - for consumer and commercial. Optimize these frameworks through strategic deep dives. Work with customer marketing teams to enable utilization of these frameworks to drive top customer retention for ICS.

Minimum Qualifications

MBA or a master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or Economics) At least 2 years of relevant work experience in analytics supporting either risk, marketing, or digital product functions Strong technical and analytical skills with ability to apply quantitative methods and business skills to drive business results Demonstrated ability to work independently and across a matrix organization partnering with business partners, functional owners, capabilities, technology teams and external vendors Strong programming skills are preferred. Experience with Big Data programming is a plus
