How will you make an impact in this role?

Provide a single point of contact for the Italian sales organization, working closely with them to facilitate the roll- out of the Business Conduct program, new policies, procedures, training and Monitoring capabilities as the maturity of the Business conduct program grows.  Collaborate closely with the EMEA business conduct team (UK based) to ensure that the local market meets the program standards within the boundaries of market regulatory obligations and that all exceptions are documented and approved. Providing advice to the sales organization on Business conduct topics to ensure any business initiative meets market regulatory obligations and requirements. Robust  collaboration with business leaders and key stakeholders (business leaders, MCO, GCO, Colleague Labor Relations, Employment General Counsel Operations…) to increase business conduct risk awareness, creating a training plan to the Customer Facing population. Ensuring robust and fully approved operating procedures are documented, inclusive of process risk controls and dispute / escalation protocols, to ensure a consistent approach to the internal management of compliance risks and to ensure effective customer remediation protocols are in place.  Partner with counterparts in other markets and business units, compliance, and other risk experts to identify trends, leverage best practices and opportunities to uplift, streamline and enhance ongoing ICS governance controls for all international markets. Where possible, driving consistency for ICS at the market and Legal Entity level. Work directly with business and 2nd line teams to analyze and act on output of monitoring / testing,  seeking opportunities for process improvement. Represent the ICS Risk & Control management team at local leadership & operational risk forums to ensure full management visibility regarding the health of the conduct program locally and, where appropriate also providing support for other conduct risk related activities including (but not limited to) Audit Findings, Operational Risk events, Independent compliance testing (ICT) etc. Support data collection and analysis required to feed into the global program reporting

Minimum Qualifications

Prior experience working within Risk management, Operational Excellence, Compliance, or Operational Risk. Knowledge of the acquiring business would be a distinct advantage. Must be fluent in English and Italian. Additional European languages will be a bonus. Excellent project management, organizational and process/workflow skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrates a collaborative approach to solving problems and strengthen stakeholder relationships. Outstanding communication skills, able to craft messages that clearly and succinctly communicate key points to various audiences in the organization.
