Analyst Real Estate Bridge Lending Job Location US-NY-New York Type Full Time Overview

The Analyst Real Estate Bridge Lending position plays a central role in the lending process. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of the origination and underwriting of new commercial real estate bridge loans, assists with the asset management of existing bridge loans and be involved in all aspects of secondary capital markets transactions.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

Builds and maintains financial models to perform analysis under different operating scenarios.Performs full valuation, DSCR and debt yield analyses on real estate collateral nationwide.Participates in day-to-day deal execution, interacting with senior deal team members, client management teams, transaction counterparties and other advisors.Manages due diligence processes, including preparing virtual data rooms, tracking, and coordinating the information flow, and reviewing and analyzing company, sponsor, and market information.Orders and reviews third party appraisals, environmental, engineering, zoning, insurance, title, and legal papers. Prepares asset summary reports, responses to investors, corporate inquiries, and credit committee presentations.Monitors current events related to real estate capital markets and commercial real estate nationwide.Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Education/Experience Requirements

Undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Preferred Requirements

Commercial Real Estate experience.Strong financial modeling/valuation and analytical skills.Broad knowledge of commercial real estate, as well as a basic understanding of legal and tax considerations.Ability to comfortably interact with clients in a professional and mature manner.Ability to conduct thorough, independent research.Experience analyzing commonly used financial statements.Outstanding ethics, integrity, and judgment.Highly organized, detail oriented and proactive with a passion for commercial real estate.Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity.Team player, able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.High level Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.Position will require travel of up to 25%. Salary Range: $74,298 - $115,162 / Annually
