If you are a supply chain professional looking for an opportunity to grow in a manufacturing environment, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Lebanon, Missouri location, the Materials Analyst position manages materials requirements to ensure parts availability for the production schedules while maintaining inventory level requirements. By analyzing future demand and consumption to ensure materials are readily available for production needs by using our MRP/ERP tools and working with our logistics and procurement teams to expedite material as required. Additionally, you will help drive improvements in supply chain and material processes as a part of the team to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery. This position requires significant interface with Scheduling, Suppliers, Logistics, Procurement, Production, Quality Control, and Engineering.
AS A MATERIALS ANALYST, YOU WILL:
Use Oracle MRP/ERP systems, Kanban tools, Excel, and other proprietary tools to analyze demand of assigned materials to meet production schedules and track shipments of materials and expedites.
Manage inventory levels of assigned materials to meet inventory goals.
Coordinate with suppliers regarding existing and late orders, and expedites.
Coordinate with our logistics team to track and create shipments regionally and internationally as required.
Coordinate with our Procurement team regarding suppliers and supply chain issues.
Manage new part introductions, engineering changes, supplier changes, and returns.
Participate in cost reduction and continuous improvement activities.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Degree in a relevant field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Moderate to Strong Excel Skills
Experience with ERP/MRP systems, Kanban, and Lean tools and strategies
Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Oracle experience
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or operations preferred
APICS or other relevant Professional Certification
