Analyst II, Market

The Analyst II, Market is responsible for understanding market conditions, identifying growth opportunities and guiding strategic decisions by gathering, analyzing and reporting on market and competitor intelligence. Additionally, conduct analysis and provide project coordination in support of go-to-market activities and marketing campaigns.

What You Will Do:

Conduct research to identify market trends leading to growth opportunities. This involves gathering data through surveys, interviews, and other research tools. Continuously assess and report on activities of competitors including, but not limited to, changes in business strategies, technical and product capabilities, marketing tactics, organization and management Prepare reports for short-, mid- and long-term commercial market and product strategies. Prepare presentations to communicate findings of analysis to stakeholders. Analyze and prepare visualizations of data using Power BI, Miro, Excel and similar tools to assist with understanding of market conditions and possible growth scenarios. Work closely with the marketing team to support optimizing their marketing campaigns by providing market, region and competitor insights. Act as project coordinator on go-to-market campaigns including documenting key activities and tasks, confirming responsibilities and providing status updates. Work closely with analysts in product management and other departments to collaboratively work in overlapping areas and leverage common analysis tools and methods.

What You Will Need:

Education and Experience

Typically requires 5 years relevant experience. Typically requires bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited university.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Good oral and written communication skills; excellent telephone communication skills. Considerable attention to detail including a high degree of accuracy in data entry and interpretation. Ability and willingness to work in a team environment. Familiarity with database requirements and computer tools available to make use of such data. Good organizational, research & problem-solving skills. Can-do attitude, conscientious towards client service. Working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management System.

Reporting Relationships:

Reports to a Manager, Director or Executive level position.
