Position Information Position Title Analyst II, Budget Management-Restricted to current employees FLSA Non-Exempt Full Time/Part Time Full Time Department Comptroller Campus Central Campus Location Central Campus Hourly Rate 15.38 Hours Full-time, indicate working hours - Full – Time, Monday-Thursday 7:30-5:30 and Friday 7:30-11:30. Any overtime will be requested and approved in advance if needed. Summary of Position This job performs many complex finance tasks supporting the Budget Coordinator and the Associate Vice Chancellor, Finance. The incumbent will perform a high volume of tasks involving independent judgement, strict attention to detail and perform general administrative work of moderate difficulty. Minimum Required Education Associate’s Degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education is required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Minimum Required Experience Four years’ experience with budget management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, finance and/or bookkeeping area. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities + Strong analytical skills + Ability to proofread and verify forms, reports and requests for funds with a high degree of accuracy. + Ability to collect and verify accuracy of data from various sources. + Ability to interact effectively with the public as well as all levels of employees. + Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including MS Word, Excel, Power point, WebEx, Teams and Outlook. + Working knowledge of or ability to learn data extraction and reporting software (i.e. Informer, Colleague, Etrieve) + Demonstrated data-entry and word-processing skills with a high degree of accuracy. + Demonstrated fundamental grammar, punctuation, spelling, sentence structure in both oral and written communication. + Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality of all information. + High attention to detail, time management, organization and strong critical thinking skills. + Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multi-task.
