**Responsibilities**
This is a full-time equity research associate in Equity Research team for the semiconductor and tech sector based in Taiwan. The individual will work on a team with a Senior Analyst responsible for all aspects of the research process from idea generation to client communications, including but not limited to the following:
+ Perform complex financial modeling & valuation work.
+ Write regular industry and company reports and company initiations from scratch.
+ Develop and maintain databases integral to our research product.
+ Develop strong industry knowledge and business judgment.
+ Work with Senior Analyst to explore key industry themes.
+ Participate and contribute to client meetings and events.
+ Follow and understand market, industry and company specific activity, and relay to analyst.
+ Interact regularly with clients, both internal and external.
+ Seek out new, value-added, and/or unusual sources of information.
**Requirements**
+ Strong motivation to learn and succeed in the equity research industry.
+ Strong work ethics and a positive attitude at work.
+ Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple work requests.
+ Strong modelling and database skills are essential.
+ Good team player with strong communication skill and detail-oriented personality.
+ A solid understanding of equity research, valuation and financial markets, plus a proven track record of high-quality analytical research, written product and strong communication skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to write high quality, evidence-based projects or reports.
+ Bachelor’s or master’s degrees in business related preferred.
+ More than 1-3 years working experience in a relevant analytical/financial markets role preferred.
+ Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
