Title and Summary

Analyst Acquiring Account Management

The Analyst – Acquiring Account Management is a critical role in managing and supporting Mastercard's partnerships with clients. This role involves analyzing account performance, identifying opportunities to drive revenue growth, handling operational cases, ensuring adherence to the Mastercard rules and supporting the overall strategy for partnerships. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to ensure the strength of the partnerships with acquirers to maximize the value of the Mastercard and payment ecosystem.

Role
• Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with acquiring partners and understand their business models and aligning Mastercard’s offerings to drive mutual success
• Business Development : Collaborate on strategic initiatives that enhance Mastercard’s value proposition for acquirers. Assist in developing account plans that align with both Mastercard’s objectives and acquirers’ growth strategies. Track market trends and opportunities to help shape Mastercard’s partnerships and offerings.
• Data and Analytics: Conduct data-driven analyses to monitor account performance, identify trends, and generate actionable insights. Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to help clients understand key performance metrics and progress toward goals.
• Operational Management: Manage and follow up on operational cases, resolving issues related to transaction processing, data discrepancies, and service delivery. Ensure timely and accurate resolution of cases, coordinating with internal teams such as Operations and Technical Support to address client needs.
• Project Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders to drive project completion and achieve business outcomes


All About You:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills – ability to build strong working relationships at all levels including key c-suite executives at key acquiring partners
• Ability to lead cross functional teams to drive results
• Project management and process optimization experience
• Experience working in the payments, fintech, technology or banking sector. Familiarity with payment processing or digital payments business models. Knowledge of Merchant Services or acquiring highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Self motivated, winning attitude and an ability to work independently. Willingness to learn and grow.
• Excellent strategic thinking and analysis skills and a proven track record of creating solutions that increase revenue – strong data and analytics capabilities to drive business priorities and decision support

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
