Analyst **Job Description:** The Analyst is a key role within our strategic plan to gather data and conduct analysis with the goal of improving the organization's supply chain operations. They will also champion the supply planning production components. An enthusiastic self-starter with a strong drive to improve existing processes and systems is highly desired. Excellent organizational skills and exceptional multitasking skills are a necessity. **Duties and Responsibilities:** Key objectives will be exceeding customer service levels, managing inventory targets, and achieving supply planning excellence. **% of Time Description** 80 % Assist with the management & execution of the supply planning function for Production Components with key partners; + Plan & execute procurement of service items from global contract manufacturers and suppliers; + Maintain purchase order status and shipment tracking information in Oracle ERPsystem; + Maintain strong working relationships and communications directly with Asia/Domestic Sourcing and Asia order processing + Determine inventory levels on a Commodity basis and deploy inventory as needed to support domestic safety stocks to support production demands + Maximize planning schedules to achieve customer service levels 15% Manage & report key performance indicators; + Provide and manage customer dashboard and distribute for root cause analysis and improve delivery focusing on the end customer; + Work with transportation to ensure accurate pickup and delivery of orders 5% Complete special projects and assignments as requested **Qualifications:** **Job-Related Experience/ Skills/ Competencies** + 0-5 years Supply Chain Planning experience, including experience in the consumer goods industry; + Knowledge and understanding of supply chain concepts and application + Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to draw information from various sources, analyze, and provide a recommendation + Strong planning, & organizational skills + Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written) + Proficient in Microsoft Office, with excellent Excel skills + Oracle, AS400, PIM, PDMLink experience highly desired + Self-starter with the ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities + Flexible work schedule; willingness to participate in teleconferences during evening hours with Chinese vendors. + Maintains superior level of accuracy while doing any work, particularly involving order management + Able to work well under pressure and deal effectively with competing forces within the organization + Strong organizational, communication (oral, written, and group) and presentation skills. + Team player, positive attitude, dependable & takes initiative + Continuous Improvement focused thinker **Travel Requirements** + 5% travel **Working conditions:** Position is located at our Cookeville, TN manufacturing facility. This facility is heated and cooled. **Physical requirements:** Candidate must be able to identify and distinguish colors, stand for long periods of time, lift/carry up to 35 lbs., reach hands and arms in any directions and kneel/stoop repeatedly.
