The Workday Analyst works within the Division of Information Technology DIT at the University of Maryland College Park and is primarily responsible for supporting areas in the Workday platform serving as a Workday subject matter expert to design build and test solutions based on business requirements while supporting specific domain areas eg Human Capital Management Finance With the direct supervision of the respective Product Owner the incumbent will work with stakeholders to resolve issuesquestions and ascertain system capabilities that would best serve UMD students faculty and staff Incumbent will advise on any needs for business process improvements and efficiencies in the universitys processes and proceduresThis position is considered an essential position and may be required to work at the normal work location or an alternative location during a major catastrophic event weather emergency or other operational emergencies to help maintain continuity of University services
