MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE (ESSENTIAL)
Degree in a related field
3 – 5 years Risk management, QA and Compliance experience within the Insurance industry
The Recruitment Process:
TA Interview: This will be a discussion with a member of the Talent Acquisition Team to give you an understanding of our business, our culture & values and more context on the role. It will also allow us the opportunity to get to know you more and ensure OMI can meet your career aspirations.
Panel Interview: This will be with 2 members of the Senior Leadership of the Hiring Team and 1 member of the HC Leadership Team.
Technical & Psychometric Assessments: These will depend on the role and will sometimes happen concurrently with MIE & Internal Verification.

SustainabilityFollow the organization's sustainability policies and procedures in order to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the well-being of self and others in the workplace; instruct the team in sustainable working methods; identify instances of unsustainable, adherent behavior within the team and take appropriate action, escalating serious issues as appropriate.
Regulatory and Compliance ManagementInvestigate standard incidents using current regulatory and compliance processes, systems, and procedures, and take action to solve immediate compliance issues. Advise more senior colleagues on more complex problems.
Audit ComplianceDeliver audit assignments in nominated client areas. Develop individual audit plans and detailed scope, deliver the fieldwork, report findings and opinions, agree on corrective actions with auditees, and refer serious or contentious issues to the lead auditor.
Information and Business AdviceResolve queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on complex processes and the related policies, referring issues to others where necessary for interpretation of policy.
Document PreparationOrganize and prepare complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices, such as standard office software. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for special reports.
Business Requirements IdentificationSupport collection of business requirements using a variety of methods, such as interviews, document analysis, and workflow analysis, to express requirements clearly and succinctly.
Internal CommunicationsHelp others get the most out of internal communications systems by offering support and advice.
Personal Capability BuildingDevelop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
