**GENERAL PURPOSE:**
The Receipt Management Analyst \(Allocation/Analytics\) is responsible for managing allocation approaches using different levers \(inputs to systems/processes\) to influence the result of allocations to the Ross and dd's Stores\. They are responsible for ensuring Allocation Strategies are executed accurately and according to high\-level and merchandise specific direction, as well as implemented in the most efficient manner\. They will own a diverse range of products, assignments, projects and analytics which involve hind sighting, providing visibility, and researching existing and changing strategies\. The Analyst will also support various teams within Allocation while developing as the subject matter expert in automated allocation strategies, processes, and best practices\. They will partner with teams for strategy changes and bridge the gaps between the business teams and systemic processes\.
Analysts work on projects and tasks where analysis of situations or data requires a review of diverse factors\. Analysts must exercise judgment to determine appropriate action\(s\) to resolve a variety of issues and builds productive internal/external working relationships\. In this role Analysts are developing their professional knowledge and expertise\.
The base salary range for this role is $68,640 \- $97,450\. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location\. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees\. Other rewards vary by position and location\.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
**Receipt Analysis**
+ Produce ad hoc data recaps upon request, following directed metrics\. Recap findings considering the audience's needs\.
+ Monitor allocation strategies and receipt changes to understand the trends and their impacts\. Communicate changes and research the driving force of disconnects\.
+ Identify when changes are out of alignment with best practice and expectations\. Communicate when there is a need to manage trends and strategies outside of standard processes\.
**Receipt Essential Operations**
+ Implement strategy changes accurately and in alignment with Department Best Practices and Standards\. Communicate when there is a need to take an alternate approach\.
+ Execute and maintain Excel based reports/tools\. Support allocation through accurate and timely use of system applications
+ Ensure processing efficiencies remain in alignment with leaderships targets \(allocation automation goals\)\. Identify opportunities and impacts of business strategies and receipts\.
+ Support on\-boarding of concepts with peers
**Communication**
+ Drive timely and effective communication with business partners to inform/recommend allocation strategies and results\.
+ Provide knowledge in the implementation of allocation approaches for cross functional partners\.
+ Develop materials to recap Allocation Strategies for the Business team that summarizes the Allocation directions and adherence to allocation standards\.
+ Communicate conclusions and recommendations in a clear, straight forward, and concise format to management \(up through Director\) and business partners\.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:**
+ Bachelor's Degree, preferred
+ 1\-2 years equivalent work experience
+ Intermediate proficiency in MS Office \(Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint\)
+ Efficient verbal and written communication skills
+ Retail math
+ Retail software experience, a plus \(JDA or Other Allocation Software\)
+ Ability to independently analyze data sets to solve problem and summarize recommendations
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:**
Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer\. Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in\-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc\.
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance\. Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically\. This role requires regular in\-office presence, including to engage in in\-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, and/or feedback\. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in\-office and remote work\.
