JLL Capital Markets, an affiliate of Jones Lang LaSalle (“JLL”), is seeking an analyst for its leading Equity Advisory Team in Asia Pacific, working out of the Singapore office. The team focuses on a breadth of transactions including, corporate M&A, portfolio recapitalization &restructurings, entity-level, fund level and joint venture capital raising.

The team’s client base includes real estate operating companies and developers, open- and closed-end real estate funds, real estate asset/investment managers and other operating companies across all CRE sectors in the Asia Pacific.

This opportunity represents a rare chance to gain experience in all stages of real estate investment banking – building skills in real estate and corporate finance modeling, marketing and presentation, deal execution, market study and research, due diligence, and other facets of M&A investment banking – alongside a team of investment banking professionals and JLL’s broader real estate platform.

Main Responsibilities

Undertaking complex valuation analyses and financial modeling exercisesAssisting in the preparation of memoranda, presentation materials, and marketing materialsOperating, financial and accounting due diligencePreparing and participating in client presentationsManaging multiple aspects of day-to-day transaction executionReviewing and analyzing (public) company filings, legal documents, internal & third party data / research and other materials as part of the transaction processInteracting with clients, investors and broader JLL team members

Preferred Experience

1-3 years of investment banking, corporate finance, fund raising or other relevant experience (real estate, M&A, capital markets experience preferred)Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to be an independent worker with a team player attitudeExcellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to interface with senior executives and clientsSelf-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of handling several tasks simultaneouslyFamiliar with use of appropriate electronic data sources (e.g. Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc)
