Job Description

As part of our dynamic US Client Marketing team, the Business Operations Analyst will lead the Operations Reporting for the US Marketing Services Delivery team by collecting, analyzing, and presenting on day-to-day operations to leadership. Marketing Services, a growing sector within our company, delivers exceptional value to our clients through a range of services, from marketing advisory to campaign execution, achieved through our close partnerships with Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) and our sales teams.

Within our Business Planning and Operations team, our focus is on supporting our Client Marketing sales and delivery teams by sharing best practices, developing training and communication materials, and advancing key strategies to drive business growth, along with ensuring efficient operating processes. This unique role requires problem-solving expertise, excellent communication skills, and executive presence. A strong desire to drive improvement in how marketing propels our business forward is essential. Essential Functions

Operations Reporting:

Collect, analyze, and present ongoing operations data for Marketing Services Delivery

Workforce Management:

Forecast resource needs using Visa Project Central (VPC – Pipeline Management Tool) pipeline reportingMonitor individual/team capacity and optimize resource utilizationAnalyze engagement trends to improve time budgeting and resource allocation

Reporting Templates & Dashboards:

Develop and optimize templates and dashboards for business decisionsEnsure proper resourcing, accurate pricing, and profitability trackingIdentify existing data gaps in VPC and where/how to capture additional information, develop enhancements required to support in future growth

Controls/Audit:

Establish a feedback loop to inform future pricing strategies based on insights from pricing/profitability analysesImplement post-project audits to ensure work is properly documented and ready for internal audit if needed

Pipeline Operations:

Track key projects and their business impacts (revenue and expense)Provide regional support for Visa Project Central including training and troubleshooting

Annual Planning and Financial Goals:

Support NA Marketing annual planning, manage timelines, and identify efficienciesDevelop and track financial goals, partnering with stakeholders to set targets

Legal Compliance and Process Improvement:

Streamline contract review processes and provide trainingStay updated on legal best practices and implement improvementsIdentify analytics needs to support Marketing Services growth

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications
• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• Experience in Marketing, Finance, Consulting, or Data Analytics is preferred
• Superior analytic and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and experience in data collection, analysis, and presentation
• Strong process orientation, ability to create processes from scratch and to identify and drive continuous improvements
• Proven experience in workforce management, resource planning and capacity forecasting
• Proficiency in creating and optimizing reporting templates and dashboards
• Familiarity with financial planning, budgeting, and cost reconciliation
• Experience with pipeline management tools and providing user support/training
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, comfortable managing spreadsheets, devising formulas, creating pivot tables, and performing data analysis, while also building executive presentations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior leaders
• Proven ability to build relationships and earn the trust and rapport of partners at multiple levels
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and a fast-paced, matrixed environment
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and quick to adapt to shifting priorities
• Team-oriented, collaborative, driven, resourceful, innovative, curious, positive, and proactive – always looking for ways to do things better

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 105,800.00 to 135,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
