Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Analyst, IT Operations located in Guadalajara, North.

Reporting to Sr Manager, IT, Analyst, IT Operations role will work with solution owners, designers, vendor support and compute team to determine the scope and need for data virtualization and visualization tools.

What a typical day looks like:

In this role you will be responsible for Install, set up security in Tableau and Denodo ApplicationSetting technical strategy, and direction around Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Virtualization, visualization, and Analytics for enterprise business data.Setup/configuration of distributed Tableau and Denodo environment with SSOAddress technical, integration, sizing, and general feature/functionality issues of the productDiagnose issues, performance checks, and Work with Denodo technical support to address outstanding issues  Implement governance processes, and best practice documentation and build internal knowledgebase for Denodo users. Review usage and adoption of best practices. Establish load balancing, caching, and backups, and conduct DR drills. Automate regular administration activities.    Review the latest release and plan on upgrading existing platformsRight-sizing the application to a build predictable environmentImplementation of proactive monitoring through an early alerting mechanism using log analytics tools like ELK, DynatraceExperience in automation of backup, restore, and other housekeeping activitiesCollaborate and lead upgrade efforts, user escalations, and working with vendors to resolve themAccountable for creating Standard Operations ProcedureAbility to analyze patterns and some level of knowledge in databasesAbility to automate tasks reducing manual effortDiagnose issues, performance checks and Work with Tableau technical support to address outstanding issues

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

BA/BS or equivalent work experienceExperience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Tableau and Denodo ApplicationExperience with application administration on Linux/Unix and Windows Operating systems.Advance English levelExpertise in working in a clustered server environment is a must.Experience with Mobile BI environment and Single sign-onExperience in designing security: creating users, groups, and access levels. Grant rights to users and groups on reports, universes, connections, and applicationsExperience in server logs debugging and providing the root cause analysis independentlyExperience with more than one BI tool is a plusKnowledge of Phyton Machine learning and AI is a plus.
