Analyst, Global Corporate Affairs COO Team

About this role

BlackRock is looking for an analyst to join the Global Corporate Affairs COO team. The Global Corporate Affairs team includes the Corporate Communications, Public Policy, Social Impact, and Corporate Sustainability teams. A successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, proven written and verbal communication skills, a knack for process and project management, and an ability to navigate internal stakeholders effectively  in a fast-paced environment. The Analyst will have great exposure and access to the senior leaders and strategic initiatives of the Global Corporate Affairs team.

Key responsibilities

Support the execution of strategic projects, managing timelines and deliverables effectively, including for team leadershipWork with the COO team and partner functions (e.g. HR, FP&A, L&C) to support budget management, compliance, talent initiatives and project management across the teamSupport the execution of the team’s operating model, including managing internal meetings and materials, and KPI tracking and reportingPrepare comprehensive memos and PowerPoint decks, ensuring clarity and precision in presentationManage the team’s vendors and third parties in a hyper-organized, diligent wayAssist in the development and implementation of operational processes and systems to enhance efficiency and scalability

Skills and requirements

Bachelor’s degree, 1 – 2 years of work experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills to work directly across all levels of staff and managementExcellent quantitative skills with proficiency in excelAbility to analyze and synthesize data in a concise and easy to understand styleInterest in Public Affairs, Public Policy, or CommunicationsProven proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications#EarlyCareers


For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$85,500.00 - USD$105,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
