Mandate:

The role is responsible for the timely calculation, processing and reconciliation of commission compensation for Financial Planners (FPs). Completion of bi-weekly reporting for payroll submission, monthly sales reporting and yearly sales incentive calculations.
Key Accountabilities
• Administration of the sales compensation database
• Investigation of commissions and general compensation questions coming from FPPROGRAM
• Respond to FPPROGRAM questions and emails on a timely manner
• Approving and implementing manual adjustments to compensation as required
• Review and action reports coming from the compensation database to ensure compensation is accurate

• Review and action reports related to deal cancellations of mortgages and process recoveries from the MSs

• Review and QA sales data coming from the scorecard team

• Communicate with the scorecard team on any data issue findings until resolved

•Log employee guarantees

•Process guarantees

•Process claw backs of compensation as required

• Produce bi-weekly payroll reports to be submitted to Alight
• Produce compensation statements out of our data

• Mail out to FPs their compensation statements

• Produce monthly management reports

• Produce reporting for the accounting team

• Produce ad-hoc reports as required

Knowledge and Skills:

• Attention to detail
• Comfortable working with numbers


• Experience managing sales compensation plans is an asset
• Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
• Able to collaborate with immediate team as well as the team in FPPROGRAM, accounting team and the scorecard team
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (EXCEL and ACCESS specifically)

• comfortable with SQL queries and working with Microsoft ACCESS

 

Salary:

$41,300.00 - $76,500.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
