As part of the Flexible Pipe Systems offshore team based in Newcastle UK you will be joining an established business and team with expertise in Flexible pipe design and manufacturing, Project Engineering, and installation. To be responsible for Project Management/ Planning/ Coordinating activities typically in the context of solutions and services projects to fulfil opportunity planning and customer orders. Develops and maintains operational year plan for all business activities. Implements improvements in services, processes, and procedures. Supports technical and commercial interface with the wider Baker Hughes business, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and partners to ensure a cohesive ‘end-to-end’ offering to the ultimate customer.

As an AMS Project Operations Master Scheduler, you will be responsible for:

All activities related to resource planning of the business and execution of a service project, including scope, time, contract (if not covered by a dedicated project lead) cost & quality management. Responsibility for project methodologies and standards including operations, scheduling and control, to fulfil a business need or customer order and ensuring business continuity and customer satisfaction.

Pro-actively and collaboratively works together with all levels of personnel from the business incl, FLD, PB, LPB, SPB and EB. Specifies needs, communicates about project approach, and presents outcomes of research done.

Provide fully or in part, definition, schedules, execution plans to support After Market Solutions (AMS) strategy, tender efforts, projects, and operations from a technical and commercial perspective.

Supports the project teams to ensure that tasks are planned and carried out with technical adequacy, within budget and to schedule.

Develop / review logistical plans and cost models, including mobilisation/ demobilisation, equipment/material storage and load out.

Follow-up activities through project execution, onshore operations (load-out/storage base / factories), in ports or on Vessels.

Assist technically and commercially other functions / disciplines such as commercial, logistics, procurement, EHS, quality, project management and planning.

Evaluate technical & commercial proposals of goods / services from suppliers for AMS tenders, projects, and operations.

Conduct technical visits to suppliers and clients when necessary for technical / familiarisation / training advice on matters related to AMS projects and operations.

Handles standardized project processes. Guidelines for choosing the right actions. Processes and procedures are frequently updated by other functions and must be implemented in the department.

Handles diverse clients in all regions. Works based on predefined contracts and frameworks.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED and/or significant experience in Services Operations and Project Management.

Have experience using Primavera P6.

Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to influence others and lead small teams. Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. Effective problem identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability.

Occasional Travel may be required.
