The Raytheon Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) organization within the Air Dominance Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) is looking for a Lead MPM Associate Director, to lead the AMRAAM® production program. The candidate will be responsible for leading a diverse team and managing a dynamic and complex organization. They will lead the MPM teams assigned to the AMRAAM portfolio and are responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies, proposals & program execution within the portfolio. The position requires the ability to exert influence on overall objectives and long-range goals of the product lines and their PMO. This is an onsite position home based in Tucson AZ and involves direct management of MPMs, supporting operations across multiple Raytheon sites.

What You Will Do

Accountable for SCM cost, schedule, and quality

Managing MPMs supporting the AMRAAM portfolio of programs

Manage, develop and support SCM proposal activities including supplier RFPs and BOEs

Interfaces with Customers ensuring satisfactory standards of service

Coordinate & develop OSC requirements for all gate reviews & execute proposed strategies

Overall ownership of the Supplier Management process

Implement and drive process improvements that result in a healthy value chain for development and production programs

Strong business acumen with budget and schedule responsibility

Experience building and giving verbal/visual presentations of OSC activities, plans, tasks, and/or delivery outlooks and program-level information to internal and USG Customers

Experience with Technical Data Package (TDP)

Experience with transition of programs from design to manufacturing

Ability to lead collaborative teams on tactical and strategic discussions to drive results and break down barriers

Experience developing and executing competitive bids and proposals through collaboration with multiple manufacturing and functional teams

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of twelve (12) years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience

Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Experience leading personnel and teams in matrixed organizations as a collaborative leader that shares program information and requirements to enable success

Experience interfacing with external customers and all levels of internal management

Good interpersonal skills to influence and manage cross functional tasks

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills

Experience with Six Sigma/CORE tools and applications

Experience leading teams in cost reduction/process improvement initiatives

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
