**Job Title: Ammonia Refrigeration Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Ammonia Refrigeration Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure production uptime. This role involves conducting boiler and refrigeration checks, overhauling and updating equipment, and performing electrical, welding, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair work. The technician will also be responsible for all other duties as assigned. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration systems. + Conduct repairs to ensure production uptime. + Perform boiler and refrigeration checks. + Overhaul and update equipment as needed. + Troubleshoot and repair electrical, welding, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. + Complete all other assigned duties. **Essential Skills** + Maintenance technician experience + Preventive maintenance expertise + Knowledge of refrigerant and refrigeration equipment + Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems + Electrical troubleshooting and repair skills + Mechanical, hydraulics, and repair skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ammonia refrigeration experience or willingness to learn + 3+ years of mechanical experience, including installation, troubleshooting, and equipment repair + MN State Specialist Class Boilers license or higher preferred + Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, plumbing, and PLCs + Ability to stand for 10 hours per day + Ability to frequently bend, lift, and twist + Positive attitude and teamwork skills + Ability to function independently and in a team-oriented environment **Why Work Here?** We are a family-owned and operated company that offers a generous PTO bank, key holidays off, and paid parental leave. Appropriate PPE and other equipment are necessary or required. The work schedule involves a 5 on 4 off, 3 on 2 off rotation, ensuring 40 hours per week with 30 hours of straight time and 10 hours of overtime every other week. The 2nd shift runs from 1 PM to 11:30 PM, with either Monday-Wednesday and rotating weekends or Wednesday-Friday and rotating weekends. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Wells, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $51272.00 - $62628.00 Family-owned and operated.
