The role of **the Amazon Sales & Demand Planning Analyst** within the Outdoor Performance platform team plays a key role in driving the strategic priorities of the Global Amazon team, which includes a strong focus on consumer needs, prioritizing power brands, and internal investment. By aligning efforts with these priorities, the team aims to strengthen the Global Amazon business by enhancing consumer engagement and brand power.
The primary responsibility of the individual in this role is to utilize data analysis to generate valuable insights that can be translated into actionable strategies for the Sales and Marketing departments. By leveraging data-driven approaches, the Sales Development & Planning Analyst contributes to the overall success of Revelysts Global Amazon business by providing informed recommendations that drive performance and growth. This position plays a vital role in shaping the direction of the business and ensuring that decisions are grounded in meaningful data and consumer-centric strategies.
This position reports to the Director, Global Amazon and is based in Bozeman, MT, Logan, UT or San Diego, CA.
**As the** **Amazon Sales & Demand Planning Analyst,** **you will have an opportunity to:**
· Compile data from multiple sources, including internal revenue, customer POS, inventory, etc. to provide regular state of the business dashboards.
· Analyze data to produce business information used to support strategy development and decision making.
· Support sales and demand planning organizations with reporting and analytics for long-range forecasting.
· Evaluate customer POS, stock levels, and purchasing trends to identify areas of incremental sales opportunities.
· Develop and implement efficient and easy methods for sales team members to regularly track their customer and territory performance against determined KPIs.
· Collaborate with marketing and finance teams to analyze third party market research and data, e.g., NPD.
· Proactively leverage all sources of data and insights to identify reporting tools customized to the needs of the sales and marketing organizations.
· Communicate by leading with insights with supporting data and details available when needed.
· Provide training to team mates on basic report modification for minor self-service requirements.
· When required, present data and insights to internal executives and external customer teams.
**You have:**
· Bachelor's Degree - Sales, Marketing or related field
· 3-5 years effective analytical and insight support
· Experience with Vendor Central, Seller Central, Power BI, SPS Commerce, and various retailer portals
· Experience with Netsuite and NAV preferred
· Ability to analyze data, identify insights, and share action recommendations
· Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
**Pay Range:**
Annual Salary: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
