Summary:

Goldbelt C6, LLC., is seeking an Alumni Records Specialist to provide contract support to the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs’ Office of Alumni Affairs (ECA/P/A). The Alumni Records Specialist performs a wide variety of duties necessary to assist in outreach and data management of international exchange alumni.  In coordination with ECA offices, regional bureaus, other offices, implementing partners and posts, they provide data analysis, records management, and research with regard to alumni participant records and data.  They maintain a close and highly responsive relationship with program staff and leadership in support of day-to-day activities.  They also provide online customer service to and communicate directly with U.S. government exchange program alumni users of the Exchange Alumni website.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

Track, verify, and update prominent alumni records.Respond to inquiries about individual or thematic alumni records, and compile reports.Communicate with overseas and domestic users and provide customer support as needed.Upload bulk data templates into the Alumni database – Alumni Contact Engagement System or ACES.Merge duplicate records in the Alumni database Alumni Contact Engagement System or ACES.Track ACES programs, years, and POCs.Compare statistics from various sources and assist the ACES Database Manager with identifying data gaps and scheduling data requests.Assist the ACES Database Manager with an annual review of ACES user accounts.Update user accounts that have changed post of assignment or office.Participate in user training sessions and customer support.Work with the technology team to facilitate and troubleshoot the registration process for the Exchange Alumni website.Collaborate in developing materials and information campaigns for alumni and overseas missions to use in order to increase Alumni usage of the Exchange Alumni websiteSupport ECA’s Afghanistan Alumni work by managing inquiries from alumni, partners, and colleagues about the P1 referral process. Develop and use template language to respond to a wide array of questions related to the refugee referrals process.  Answer questions from a high-volume inbox and assist in verifying alumni status of potential applicants for the United States Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP).  Enter eligible alumni into spreadsheets and into the USRAP’s record management system (START). Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

Basic familiarity with U.S. foreign policy and international educational and cultural exchanges. Excellent computer skills, with proven experience in or the ability to learn the following applications:MS Office (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)Adobe Creative Suite Email marketing toolsSalesforceDemonstrated skills or knowledge of global internet access and research capabilities.Strong critical thinking and analytical skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to interact with all nationalities in a culturally sensitive manner.Strong ability to also have a flexible, team-oriented approach to work.Ability to multitask, prioritize and deliver high-quality, accurate work within targeted deadlines.Ability to successfully work as a team to accomplish all tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degreeAt least one full year of specialized experience which provided the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the responsibilities of the position outlined above.Experience gathering, interpreting, and synthesizing data to inform pertinent issues to management and other stakeholders.Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level.

Preferred Qualifications:

Exposure to international educational and cultural exchanges, or other types of international programming or activities.Exposure to U.S. foreign affairs agencies and/or international organizations.Currently maintains a security clearance at the Secret level.Prior experience working with the U.S. Department of State is highly desired to understand the culture and environment.

The salary range for this position is $70,00.00-$80,000.00 annually.
