We have an exciting opportunity for an Alternate Contractor Program Security Officer (ACPSO) to join our Industrial Security Team in Poway, CA.
Under careful supervision, this individual will work under the guidance and direction of the Special Program Security Manager at our Poway, GA-ASI Campus. The assignments of the Security Specialist are focused on supporting the administration of several vigorous security projects in a dynamic environment working alongside a team of security professionals. The primary responsibility is to support the implementation of all requisite national security directives with specific emphasis on DoD 5205.07 SAP Manual, Vols 1-4, and exhibit the dedication and expectation of a skilled security professional.
Exercises considerable judgment to develop solutions while providing leadership and guidance to employees, supervisors, managers, and contractors on appropriate action(s) to be taken to ensure compliance with the classified security program.
This position performs Security responsibilities regarding Special Access Programs (SAPs) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) including day-to-day coordination of program security disciplines with Program Management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Administer and coordinate all aspects of security activities in accordance with company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal security regulations, directives, and manuals for safeguarding National Security Information.Oversee incoming and outgoing DOD documents.Prepare, review, and submit personnel security access requests.Investigate and review all security violations, preparing reports, and recommending specific preventive and corrective action to be taken.Act as security spokesperson to brief/debrief personnel.Develop, implement, and manage Standard Operating Procedures and Automated Information SystemsRespond to day-to-day security needs of the program staff in the position of Alternate/Assistant Contractor Program Security Officer.Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.Serve as the focal point for receiving, processing, distributing, and controlling all classified documentation (hard copy and electronic media) entering or leaving the facility, including electronic data transfer.Prepare, review and process personnel security clearance requests.Implement visitor control procedures ensuring compliance with National PolicyMaintain receipt and dispatch, document control, personnel records, and combination records.Implement and manage access control system for the company and/or assigned business unit classified areas.Access, review and submit Program Access Request using JADE and other Government Systems as required.Maintain PERSEC forms and data in accordance with National PolicyPrepare and administer program indoctrination and debriefings.Prepare and submit status reports to applicable government agencies, with review as appropriate from security management and/or Company management.Oversight of SAPs to include support development, review, and maintenance of program security documentation for SAP.Set up SAPF in accordance with National Policy (physical security, facility security and access control, network and IT security, cryptography, personnel, etc.).Manage the annual inventory of accountable holdings in accordance with policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned or required.We recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.
