AIx Field Service Engineer - (E3)

Key Responsibilities

Leads continual improvement projects and drives innovation for digital tools. Globally the AIX Field Service Engineer serves as the main point of contact for customer site digital tools.Internally communicates difficult concepts and persuades others with differencing viewpoints.  Recommends best practice for troubleshooting to team. Leads troubleshooting efforts using digital tools. Provides feedback to digital package owner on content and best practice. Implements and tests solutions for new issues. Provides mentoring on specific troubleshooting. Highly knowledgeable in various tools and systems. Knowledgeable in advanced modeling techniques and BKM.

Functional Knowledge

Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines. Have in depth knowledge of Applied' s digital products and applications.Have good understanding / knowledge of Equipment and Fab Operations.

Business Expertise

Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.

Leadership

Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.

Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

Drives the use of Applied Problem Solving methodology.
