Are you ready to utilize your experience in aviation Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) and Quality Assurance (QA)? We have an opportunity tailored for you! As an Aircraft NDI/Quality Assurance Inspector, you will leverage your specialized skills to inspect aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts to ensure airworthiness and adherence to the manufacturer's specifications and government regulations. You will be responsible for performing a range of non-destructive inspections, accurately identifying, and classifying relevant indications, adhering to applicable technical data and processes, and completing necessary forms and documentation. Your inspection authority will be limited to NDI procedures for which you are certified under NAS-410, alongside other quality assurance inspections as required. When not performing NDI duties, you will assist other QA personnel with various aviation quality assurance requirements.

The ideal candidate must possess the skills and knowledge to set up and standardize NDI equipment, conduct process control/system performance checks in accordance with process standards, inspect parts, interpret, and evaluate acceptance and rejection criteria, and document results, as necessary. You must be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the techniques/methods required for the position. Additionally, you should be capable of developing work instructions from approved general procedures for Level III approval.

Qualifications You Must Have:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and typically 10 or more years of relevant Quality assurance experience and typically 2 or more years ND experienceHigher education may substitute for relevant experienceRelevant experience may be considered in lieu of required educationNAS-410 Level II certification or the training and experience to be immediately certifiable to NAS-410 Level II in Eddy Current (ET), Ultrasonic (UT), Magnetic Particle (MT), and Fluorescent Penetrant (PT)Proven experience with NDI equipment, processes, and procedures commensurate with the role's requirementsActive, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant certification with no prior FAA violationsBasic knowledge of aviation maintenance processes and proceduresFundamental understanding of audit and inspection processes and proceduresProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)Advanced ability to understand and interpret technical schematics and documentsExtensive understanding of electrical wiring conceptsSubstantial knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe ProductsThe ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
