**EchoStar** has an exciting opportunity for an **Aircraft Maintenance Control - Atlanta** in our **Hughes Network Systems** division supporting our AERO Mobility business unit. This role is essential for supporting the maintenance, repair, and serviceability of the Hughes in-flight connectivity system. This position will operate as a customer-facing role, providing frontline technical guidance to our airline customers, and you will act as a critical conduit for communications between airline maintenance personal and the Hughes aircraft operations team. This position will be located at our customer facility in **Atlanta, GA** . **Responsibilities** + **Technical Support** + Support all facets of maintenance for the Hughes in-flight connectivity system. + Monitor all incoming and active discrepancies using a ticketing system and establish maintenance plans with the airline to ensure issues are being addressed. + Examine technical performance data to diagnose system faults and provide corrective actions for airline technicians. + Interpret a variety of technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics to provide technical guidance. + Utilize various data sources, such as performance metrics, tickets, and system logs to facilitate troubleshooting and diagnostics of aircraft IFC system. + Focus on resolving faults with speed and efficiency while also ensuring compliance to federal regulatory guidelines. + Accomplish projects and assignments as needed, which are sometimes broad in nature, and frequently may require engagement with cross functional teams. + Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to maintain 24/7 technical support. + This position may require occasional travel. + **Communication** + Communication skills with customer in providing system training, troubleshooting guidance, and reporting requirements. + Collaborate with Hughes cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and implement improvements in support of customer aircraft. + **Process Improvement** : + Continuously analyze and improve support systems, tools, and processes to drive cost reduction, improve customer performance, and enhance efficiency. **Basic Requirements** + Two-year degree in technical field or combination of relevant work experience and certifications. + Prior experience with Inflight Connectivity Systems. **Preferred Qualifications** + Airline maintenance and operations experience with avionics background. + IT Networking and Satellite Communications experience. + Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. + Strong analytical skills and troubleshooting experience. + High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously. + Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive mindset. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other office software. + Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and customers. + Resilient under pressure with the ability to handle complex situations and resolve conflicts. + Strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and improve processes. The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies.
