Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance, inspection, servicing, defect rectification and issue certification for Cathay and Air Hong Kong aircraft as rostered. Perform ground-based aircraft health monitoring before arrival to assess aircraft serviceability and respond accordingly. Perform additional aircraft maintenance as requested by Cathay Maintenance Control and Maintenance Control Planning Hong Kong as appropriate to qualification. Perform routine maintenance, inspection, servicing, defect rectification and issue certification for third party customer’s aircraft as applicable. Perform onsite oversight to performance of the ground handling third party suppliers at the responsible stations – base station (ANC) and partner station(s). Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers. Perform relief and other operational duties on other stations as requested. Keep up to date with the aircraft systems, technology, regulatory requirements, processes and procedures.  Supervise the shift to ensure the team is able to deliver a safe, efficient, and effective operation. Perform other duties and projects as reasonably directed by the Engineering Manager. Requires 50% of domestic and international travelRequirements

Education & Experience:

Associate degree or foreign equivalent in aircraft engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aircraft electronics, or a related aircraft maintenance/technology field and five (5) years of experience as an Aircraft Engineer, Aircraft Mechanic/Technician, or in a related Aircraft Maintenance role. In lieu of an Associate’s degree and five (5) years of experience, will accept two (2) years of academic studies toward a US Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in aircraft engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aircraft electronics, or a related aircraft maintenance/technology field and five (5) years of experience as an Aircraft Engineer, Aircraft Mechanic/Technician or in a related Aircraft Maintenance role.

Special Requirements:

Experience with aircraft maintenance and ground handling activities, including release of aircraft; Knowledge and experience with Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (CAD) airworthiness regulations; Categories B1.1 - HKAR-66, European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 66, or any equivalent aircraft maintenance license acceptable per HKAR-2; and Airbus A330 and/or A350 and/or Boeing 777 aircraft rating

Benefits

Salary: $95,040 - $142,428/year
