Job Title: Aircraft Electrical Installer C Job Code: 19887Job Location: Tulsa, OK (Onsite) Schedule: Flex Shift (8pm-6.30am or 10pm-6.30am). Team is currently working 10 hours on Sun-Thu with 8 hours on Friday. Job Description: The Aircraft Electrical Installer performs installation, maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly or adjustment of various aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and regulations. Essential Functions: + Installs, tests, troubleshoots and repairs aircraft avionics and electrical system components in accordance with testing, engineering, maintenance and installation directives + Ability to assist in post installation operational checks of all installed and disturbed systems. + Ability to learn the proper techniques in troubleshooting systems. + Ability to interpret electrical engineering drawings, component installation and wire termination list. + Displays a strong pride in workmanship + Ability to work well with others + Ability to follow company guidelines and policies + Willingness and ability to work outside regularly scheduled hours to meet company objectives. + Willingness and ability to travel to support the aircraft at times in the field when the aircraft are away from home station. Qualifications: + Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; Or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. + Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, which require US citizenship. + Minimum of 2 years experience in Aircraft Electrical and Avionics experience. + Minimum of 2 years experience in interpreting and understanding wiring diagrams. + Minimum of 2 years experience in aircraft wire routing and termination. Preferred Additional Skills: + Active DoD security clearance + Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license a plus + Experience with standard electrical termination tooling (i.e. DMC, TE, etc.) + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) + Dependable work ethic + 145 Repair station experience a plus #LI-AS1 L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
