Job Description

The Avionics Technician is responsible for performing a variety of troubleshooting, fabrication, repair, modification, and installation tasks on a Gulfstream contract with the US Navy. This role involves reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and installation drawings to facilitate relevant system inspections, troubleshooting, and installations. Additionally, the technician will ensure compliance of aircraft-related tasks to FAA requirements, ensuring safe and compliant avionics installations are accomplished in accordance with released data.

Work Environment

This position operates in a hangar environment with two shifts available: Monday - Friday 6 AM - 4 PM or Monday - Friday 3 PM - 1 AM. Candidates must be comfortable with working overtime, as they are expected to work at least 50-60 hours a week.

This is a Contract position based out of Newport News, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $52.00/hr.
