ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare Permit Review and Responsibility Sheets (PRRS). A PRRS is a summary of all air permit conditions and the who, what, when, where and how the conditions are to be metAssist in the migration of historical files from shared drives to Sharepoint structureLead in implementation of aspects of ACTS software including entering permit limits into the ACTS database and ensuring equipment is entered consistently when compared to permits, SPCC plans, RMPs, and field verificationAssist in the preparation of all aspects of an air permit including creating calculation tables, completing forms and performing model runs. Permits may be from any of the states in which G&P currently operates or may operate in the futureCommunicate with regulatory agencies to ensure permits are issued in a timely mannerReview permit applications and final permits with environmental and operations personnel to ensure applications are accurate and programs are in, and federal ordinances, rules, place to meet all permit conditionsMay participate in the audit program, including participating in audits and responding to audit findingsAssist field environmental coordinators and sustainability group in all matters including calculationsStay current in applicable local, state and federal ordinances, rules and regulations.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of environmental rules and regulations pertaining to the natural gas sector and the ability to understand and implement new rules, Must be able to critically analyze data to recognize patterns or deviations from normally acceptable results,Ability to work well and communicate with variety of personnel from field operations to senior managers to regulatory authorities,Mechanical aptitude to be able to understand processes in the natural gas industry,Ability to maintain schedule of projects and tasks to ensure deadlines are met,Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide training sessions for field personnel,Basic computer skills to include knowledge of Excel, MS Word, and PowerPointAir permitting experience preferredWorking knowledge of simulation programs such as GRI-Glycalc, BRE ProMax, HYSYS or other simulation models a plusMust be able to exercise discretion when dealing with confidential company informationBe able to follow the Air Program guidelines in performing workCurrent driver’s license required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED required with 5 years of relevant environmental experience in a process industry (e.g. refining, midstream, petrochemical or other heavy industrial); or Bachelor’s degree in a HES related field with no relevant experience; or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with no relevant experienceConceptual knowledge of environmental compliance and regulatory framework#GPA
