Summary

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Air Mission Planner / Operations Planner to support operations across various European locations. This role is based in our Ramstein, Germany offices and requires residence in the area. As an integral team member, you will support a US Military customer, providing expertise in Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR).

What You Will Do Support the advancement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure alignment with relevant policies and directives governing EUCOM and AFRICOM theaters. Support mission development and manage the staffing process from Future Operations (FUOPS) to Current Operations (CUOPS). Apply USAF Staff procedures to develop responsive plans based on Air Force doctrine. Leverage Air Force’s unique capabilities for comprehensive mission planning. Coordinate planning efforts and execute programming actions as guided by major commands, joint activities, or DoD. Plan, coordinate, and manage flight operations supporting USAFE-AFAFRICA. Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for operations implementation. Aid in navigating legal matters, SOPs, and MQ-9 systems and operations issues. Coordinate and implement the Flight Operations Procedures, Ground Operations Procedures, and Mishap Response Plans. Manage Air Tasking Order (ATO) and Air Operations Center (AOC) requirements and reports.
  What We Are Looking For 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience. Experience with USAFE/NATO remotely piloted aircraft operations. Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other internal and external organizations. Experience with mission planning for remotely piloted aircraft. Working knowledge of applicable policies, regulations, directives, and doctrine that pertain to exercise activities and programs in the European theater. Expertise and ability to provide insight as the contractor to various stakeholders regarding ISR mission planning. Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Top Secret with SCI access.   Preferred: Bonus Points For... Former aviator within the military.  Clearance: Possess and maintains a Top Secret/SCI with polygraph.  Previous military staff experience.  Extensive writing and excellent communication skills.
