Delta Global Staffing, a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines Inc, has an immediate opening for Air Export Agent in Atlanta, Georgia.  In the Air Export Agent position candidates will prepare Air Export shipments for assigned customers. This may include customs clearance, shipping, labeling, and distribution of cargo and generate delivery orders and shipping labels as needed.  JOB SUMMARY: Prepare Air Export documents for distribution to brokerage department and/or Customers’ Broker Coordinate pickup and delivery orders with trucking companies, airlines, steamship line and/or bonded facilities in order to obtain necessary information in order to process shipments in the best way Provide customer service through direct contact with the customer Communicate with other branches and departments such as customs brokerage and warehouse Filing and data entry Issue freight bills and invoices to brokers and responsible for collecting unpaid invoices within credit term. Non-warehouse role JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school diploma or equivalency certificate or significant or relevant or appropriate working experience. Specific Technology: Strong computer skills including data entry and maintenance and working knowledge of general and Export Computer application technology Knowledge of international commerce (Incoterms, method, customs regulations etc.) Knowledge of Consolidator system Specific Experience: Approximately 1-2 years department of freight forwarding industry experience Must have prior Air Export (Documentation Agent) experience.
