Bachelor’s Degree or relevant tertiary qualification3+ years’ working experience in Agile Scrum or SAFe delivery and coachingRelevant Agile certification required (SAFe, A-CSM, ICAgile)Strong understanding of scrum and KanbanExperience as a scrum master/ agile methodologyKnowledge of agile software developmentLead, coach, advise, and train multiple integrated teams on the Agile, Lean, and Scrum principles, ways of working, and ceremonies and processes, providing them with tools and techniques to increase collaboration, innovation, adaptability, and flexibility to perform at the highest level.ResponsibilitiesHorizon ScanningIdentify new external developments and/or emerging issues within an area of technology or business function and evaluate their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organization.
Portfolio ManagementPlan and manage the delivery of projects within an area of professional expertise, using an appropriate project management methodology to give assurance that intended outcomes are achieved.
Stakeholder ManagementDevelop and implement stakeholder engagement plans for projects to identify relevant stakeholders, to develop positive stakeholder relationships, and to ensure that each stakeholder has an appropriate share of voice.
Information and Business AdviceProvide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving complex or contentious queries and issues and enabling others to take appropriate actions.
Digital Vision and StrategyConceptualize elements of digital strategy and digital-enabled business change projects. Develop approaches to programmatically deliver successful digital innovation engagements.
Organizational Capability BuildingUse the organization's formal development framework to identify the team's individual development needs. Plan and implement actions, including continuing professional development specified by professional or regulatory institutions, to build their professional capabilities. Provide informal training or coaching to others throughout the organization in own area of expertise to enable others to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
Agile Development Team FacilitationLead Scrum ceremonies, remove obstacles, and facilitate problem-solving, collaboration, and conflict resolution to enable the most effective work delivery by development teams on medium-sized projects.
Agile Release PlanningPlan and replan software releases for large projects or programs as they are produced to ensure timely updates and to deliver the planned benefits as early as possible in the project or program.
Agile Backlog ManagementReview the backlog of work for a medium-sized project and reprioritize the work and the deployment of project resources to reduce costs and increase the value of the work delivered to the business.
Digital Strategy/Transformational Projects ExecutionManage and deliver end-to-end digital programs and initiatives, leveraging agile and design-thinking principles to drive sustainable implementation.
Project Risk and Issue ManagementManage identification of risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the project, escalating these matters where appropriate. Where necessary, develop, agree on, and implement solutions to overcome these concerns.
Project Resource ManagementNegotiate and manage deployment of project resource budgets, providing forecasts and presenting variances with narrative at appropriate review points to ensure effective utilization.
Personal Capability BuildingAct as subject matter expert in an area of technology, policy, regulation, or operational management for the team. Maintain external accreditations and in-depth understanding of current and emerging external regulation and industry best practices through continuing professional development, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
