Agency Education and Development Specialist

Job Summary 

The Agency Education and Development Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day development and execution of Field Sales Agent, Leadership, and Management Development programs including position-based tracks/offerings, individual courses, and Accelerated Development programs.

 

Responsibilities 

Builds education strategies for new corporate initiatives and works with internal teams to develop and refine content. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand education needs and develop content to be delivered to sales agents. Reviews, assesses, and refines education materials for an agency salesforce and agency sales leaders.  Develops instructional materials for new agents and leadership programs. Works personally or in partnership with our Learning and Development department to develop content for new agents, leadership development programs, and experiential development plans.  Communicates Agency initiative status to team, business owners, and leaders throughout the duration of the initiative. Will coordinate and/or moderate national new agent and leadership development programs, virtually and in person. Ensures that new agent and leadership development programs include a measurement component to evaluate learning and effectiveness. Collects measurement results, formulates recommendations based on the data, and works with leadership to make improvements. Keeps abreast of curriculum, development, training, and facilitation information & trends to ensure competitive and relevant design and delivery. Accountability and responsibility with other key Home Office and Field Partners for consistent integrated solutions across the organization. Designs content for new agent and field leaders to suit an adult learner. Works with field partners to identify new agent and leadership skill gaps. Provides input and makes recommendations regarding the procedures and practices of new agent and leader training. Performs other related duties and activities as required.

Education and Experience 

Bachelor's degree required in Organizational Development, Talent Management, Leadership, Learning, and Development or equivalent experience 3-5 years of facilitation delivery experience, content design, and initiate management experience  Demonstrated experience managing full life cycle initiatives, from inception to implementation Prior experience in a sales, sales support, or sales leadership role required, supplemental insurance preferred

Bilingual English/Spanish, a plus
