After School Program Aide

OVERVIEW: 

The After School Program Aide will assist in various duties that support the program and permanent staff.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the day-to-day operations of the After School Program Participate in weekly staff meetings Provide snacks to the after-school program participants Assist with the monitoring of program participants during activities Take the lead in program activities Assist with the transportation of program participants Ensure the safe check-in and check-out of children participating in the after-school program Assist with cleaning and resetting program areas Assist with cleaning of the kitchen and dining area Other related duties as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent (required) CA driver’s license (required) 21 years of age (required) Experience working in an after-school program Experience with Microsoft programs

 SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Bilingual in Spanish (preferred) Team player Great communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Modern Office Equipment and Relevant Software
