As a Customer Service Representative, you will:
Work closely with drivers, driver managers/load planners, sales, manufacturing, distribution, and external customers.Be responsible for building lasting relationships with your customers that allow you to better serve their needs.Schedule pick-up and delivery appointments for all shipments, monitor driver progress along their route to their destination and adjust schedules to meet customers deadlines.NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive. An employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization; these duties are considered marginal. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications (Required):
Strong customer service skills.Excellent verbal communication, including telephonic conversations.Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook).Ability to problem solve and resolve issues with autonomy.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle stress.Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of McLeod Operating system.Prior dispatch or customer service skills in a transportation setting.
