Aesthetic Representative (Johannesburg)

Main Purpose of Job
\r\nThe Medical Aesthetics Representative is responsible for increasing the visibility and awareness of our company's aesthetics portfolio and maximizing sales growth. The role involves building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors and specialists. This role will be predominantly focused on the aesthetic space, but there will also be a component to the neurotoxin in neuroscience field.

Key Performance Areas (Core, essential responsibilities – outputs of the position)
\r\nSales and Relationship Building:
\r\n\r\nDevelop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, primarily doctors and specialists.\r\nContinuously identify and build the customer base for both Aesthetics and Neurosciences\r\nSchedule and conduct regular visits to medical offices, hospitals, and clinics to promote Austell’s Aesthetic products.\r\nImplement the marketing strategy for the brand(s).\r\nDeliver and exceed monthly, quarterly & annual sales targets.\r\nIncrease our products’ market shares within the current users and new users.\r\nResponsible for launching new products within the portfolio.\r\nImplement the marketing strategy for the brand(s).\r\n\r\n\r\n
Customer Support:
\r\n\r\nResponsible for educating Aesthetic doctors on the product knowledge of our world class medical injectable portfolio.\r\nResponsible for support in the therapeutic side of neurotoxin which requires calling on Neurologists and other specialties responsible for therapeutic indications. (This may include visits to hospital, clinics and rehab centers)\r\nProvide ongoing support to doctors regarding Austell’s product range. This might include enquiries, product information, training, clinical trials etc.\r\nBuild partnerships with healthcare professionals to help drive trust & loyalty.\r\n\r\n\r\n
Regulatory Compliance:
\r\n\r\nEnsure all promotional activities comply with industry and regulatory policies and guidelines.\r\n\r\n\r\n
Education and Training:
\r\n\r\nConduct presentations and training sessions for healthcare professionals to educate them on the products, including features, benefits, and correct usage.\r\nPlan, arrange and drive training workshops to further expose more doctors and to create more awareness on the aesthetic portfolio.\r\n\r\n\r\n
Market Analysis:
\r\n\r\nStay informed about the latest healthcare trends, competitor products and potential opportunities.\r\n\r\n\r\n
Minimum Requirements
\r\nEDUCATION
\r\n\r\nBachelor’s degree in medical or a related field\r\n\r\n\r\n
EXPERIENCE.
\r\n\r\nProven experience in pharmaceutical, aesthetics sales or a similar role will be beneficial.\r\nMinimum of 2 years’ experience calling on Dermatologists and Aesthetic Dr's\r\nFamiliarity with Business relationship management (BRM) and Customer relationship management (CRM) practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships\r\nPrevious experience in the medical aesthetics (injectables) field is a big plus\r\nGood understanding of the existing neurotoxin and/or filler market is advantageous\r\nExcellent knowledge of the anatomy of the face\r\nGood track record of planning and managing injectable workshops with doctors\r\n\r\n\r\n
SKILLS/PHYSICAL COMPETENCIES
\r\n\r\nCRM software experience will be beneficial.\r\nMS Word, Power Point, Excel & Outlook\r\n\r\n\r\n
