Job Description

• Conduct AECD functional analysis with product development teams and global suppliers.
• Manage AECD certification document development, provide continuous improvement and prepare documents for agency submission.
• Operate Running Change certification document development tools specific to US regulations.
• Support any US certification agency (CARB or EPA) meeting preparations and discussions.
• Assist with presentations on AECD updates to US agencies as needed.
• Assist responding to agency inquiries related to US-based AECD compliance.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams within the US organization and collaborate with external suppliers on AECD topics.
• Provide regular status updates and attend internal AECD and Calibration Audit team meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in emissions compliance, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of relevant US environmental regulations (e.g., EPA emissions regulations).
• Experience performing AECD development is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Any automotive product development experience is a plus, especially in powertrain software development and/or calibration areas.
• Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
