Advisor Productivity Program Manager

      

The Program Manager works to help build and execute strategic revenue growth and practice growth initiatives designed to drive sales, increase appointment activity, grow referrals, and increase capacity and productivity within a financial advisor’s practice through a balanced, client centric, advice driven approach.

The role is expected to apply strategic thinking, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of our financial advisor and business needs to deliver program outcomes that achieve the organization’s goals for growth and productivity. This position requires leadership and collaboration skills with key stakeholders of all levels across the organization.

This can be a remote position within the US.

         

          

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Build and manage key programs through coordination, communication, change management, content management, stakeholder relationship management, and analytics tracking. Programs may include and is not limited to: 

Advisor/Team Business Planning 

Advisor Restoration  

Advisor Productivity Workshop Program  

Field Focus  

NFA to Experienced Advisor Transition Experience 

Manage the production process of training content through scheduling, communication support, PowerPoint deck creation, compliance approval, Zoom production, and analytics tracking. 

Deeply understand organization’s systems, people, and processes to ensure collaboration across internal teams.  

Advocate for our advisors by understanding pain points to drive process improvement as well as seeking constant financial advisor feedback to drive opportunities for growth.  

Utilize qualitative and quantitative analytics to guide program design, delivery, system effectiveness, and future enhancements. 

Foster robust two-way partnerships with Thrivent Advisor Groups and various corporate areas, encompassing functions such as Wholesaling/Sales Support, National Practice Group, Advisor and Leadership Development, Marketing, Compliance, IT/Systems, and more. 

Exemplifies the organizations leadership competencies by showcasing resilience, collaborative teamwork, and a commitment to personal and collective accountability.   

Build and maintain crucial partnerships within Thrivent Corporate: IT/systems, Marketing, Wholesaling/Sales Support, Capacity, Succession, Teaming, & JFW, and Advice COEs.  

This position will regularly communicate and need to influence field leaders, advisors, teams, and staff to ensure that we are building resources to meet their needs. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:   

 Required: 

Bachelor’s degree in business or related areas, or equivalency in related acquired training and experience. 

5-7+ years’ experience in the financial services industry leading and executing projects and/or financial advisor programs 

Possess deep knowledge and strong influence in working with financial advisors and their practices. Understands financial advisor culture and what motivates them. 

Strong collaboration skills to build and leverage relationships that leads towards driving results. 

Ability to influence without direct authority up/down and across the organization. 

Strong business acumen, project management, and communication experience 

Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint 

Effective communication/interpersonal skills with emphasis on customer service, conflict management, and teamwork.  

 

Preferred:   

Ability to understand and utilize financial advisor and practice management technology (i.e., Salesforce, Power BI analytics).

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $77,988.00 - $105,514.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
