Advisor Consultant Associate
**Summary** : As a member of the North American intermediary sales team, the primary responsibility of the Advisor Consultant Associate (ACA) is to partner with the Advisor Consultant (external wholesaler) to promote and sell Neuberger Berman investment products through financial advisors within a specific geographic region. Candidates must be highly motivated self-starters and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. **Responsibilities:** + Partner with Advisor Consultant to promote and sell Neuberger Berman equity, fixed-income, alternative and private equity products to advisors in the wire and independent broker dealer channels. + Heavy outbound calls focused on prospecting, uncovering/closing sales opportunities, product updates, setting up sales appointments, follow-up and client service. + Act as a resource to advisors by developing and maintaining strong knowledge of Neuberger Berman products, the industry, the competition, our clients and their firms. + Develop a strategy with external wholesalers to maximize territory coverage; develop and maintain relationships with key advisors. + Assist with territory and firm-wide marketing/sales campaigns. + Assist in analyzing territory sales, marketing and product data to determine opportunities. + Respond to inbound sales inquiries, literature requests, and service issues. + Act as a liaison between the sales force and the operations department to resolve client issues/problems. + Maintain contact relationship management database (Salesforce) to effectively manage territory. + Some limited travel may be required. **Qualifications:** + Prior experience in sales of products within financial services industry is preferred. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize to meet goals. + Must be a "self-starter" that can meet activity/production quotas. + Bachelor’s Degree required. + Series 7 & 63/65 or 66 licenses required. Compensation Details The salary range for this role is $70,000-$70,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus and production compensation.
