Develop & maintain a fully loaded P&L model at a business & sub-modality level, consistent with the existing USCAN P&L structure and consistent with what is reported to GEHC and overall GE. Partnership with Product Finance Manager, FP&A as well as interlock with global SBUs on estimates and key drivers.
Partner with Product Finance, Region Finance and USCAN FP&A to drive product planning & reporting with analysis of the key drivers: volume, pricing, mix, investments, base cost productivity, along with critical pacing metrics including secured and product-specific risks & opportunities for the AVS P&L.
Support planning (LTS, Budget) for the AVS P&L and drive closing & reporting communication (quarter close, IR script, MOR reviews).
Ownership of cost analytics (SG&A and Fixed Production Cost) as well as headcount for the AVS P&Ls with specific focus on Value Creation.
Support the Product Finance Manager and AVS Value Creation GM with P&L-specific analytics & requests.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with 6+ years of financial experience, including expertise in FP&A
Desired CharacteristicsStrong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers
Clear thinking/Problem solving: successfully led projects/process improvements within operations/finance functions; able to quickly grasp new ideas
Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations
Experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, Hyperion, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and Macros)
Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows
Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions
Experience working in a matrixed environment
