RFP of Advanced Test\nEngineer

RESPOSIBILITIES:

Work in a global team as an Individual contributor with significant responsibilities of testing of Sensor & components. The responsibilities include test system design, component selection, detailed design, verification testing and interfacing with other functional/support teams (such as mechanical, manufacturing process, simulation, marketing, supply chain and external test labs). Additional responsibilities include technical report generation, documentation and progress reporting. It is also expected that the candidate would develop technical expertise is selected product line and develop proposals/growth ideas & work for improving the product line.He/She needs to have proven record of testing\n delivery in a New Product Introduction (NPI) team for minimum of 3 yrs.

Essential Skill

Sound knowledge of Analog\n and Digital Electronics design & testing.Testing Knowledge on the\n Pressure switches & Pressure sensors.Hands\n on experience with Labview and Arduino coding preferred.Good\n understanding of MS\n excel and macros analysis. Accurate\n data collection & reporting of results both written and verbalPrevious experience\n with test lab management, test equipment design, test plan development\n and test implementation on development hardware.Operate & maintenance of\n Environmental Chambers & Automated test SystemPossess sound knowledge on sensors & test equipment like PLCs, Oscilloscopes, Function generatorsConversant with Thermal chambers and maintenance aspects. Understand TPM principles to maximize the uptime of test equipment.A proven track record of leading\n projects and multi-site cross-functional teams that successfully achieve\n milestones and complete deliverables.Good knowledge of various\n serial communication protocols such as USB, SPI, and I2C. Hands-on\n knowledge of Micro-controller interfacing and Analog to Digital data\n conversionPrefer\n working experience\n with Sensor signal conditioning circuitsGood\n exposure to EMI/EMC & best practices in the design &\n certification of productsMust\n have exhibited strong technical ownership in the full life cycle\n projectsHave a fundamental understanding of product development,\n manufacturing, simulation methods and techniques, FMEA and other\n engineering principles.Predict\n and quantify technical risks in the project. Demonstration of usage of\n six sigma tools in projects is preferredExcellent\n analytical and problem solving skills.
