As an Advanced\nSystems Engineer within Honeywell Space Engineering, you will be part of a\nteam developing the Carbon Dioxide Removal by Ionic Liquid System (CDRILS), a\nlife support system for space and terrestrial applications, and other\ntechnologies that make it possible to live and breathe.
You will be a\ntechnical lead for all aspects (design, build and test) of a CDRILS\nqualification unit and contribute technically to Honeywell’s Environmental Controls and Life Support Systems (ECLSS) product line. In this role, you will work within cross-functional teams on\ncutting-edge projects that drive innovation, safety, and are shaping the future\nof space technology and industry solutions.
You will report directly to our Sr Space Engineering\nManager and you'll work out of our Glendale, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will work closely with a\n large cross-functional and cross-site team (including program management,\n advanced technology, engineering, and business development) as well as\n with customer design teams.Become a technical expert for\n CDRILS and oversee all aspects of system qualificationDevelop, decompose and manage\n requirements and V&V processBecome highly knowledgeable\n in other ECLSS (Environmental Controls and Life Support\nSystems) technologies for future road mappingU.S. CITIZEN REQUIREMENTSMust be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
