POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for indexing and processing invoices in an accurate, efficient and timely manner. Verifies invoice information to goods or services received 3-way and 2-way match POs prior to processing invoices for payment. If requires, research and code non- PO vendor invoices to facilitate approval for payment. Research and resolve invoice discrepancies. Participate in special projects as deemed necessary by department management team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process a minimum of 120-140 invoices daily to meet productivity standardsVerify invoices against purchase orders or requisition line items. Keys and codes invoices for payments or service entries for approval.Performs independent research to identify and resolve invoice discrepancies. Research invoices to avoid duplicate payments.Communicates with internal stakeholders, verbally and in writing.Requests vendor account updates from the vendor master data team to assure payments are made to correct vendors.MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum 3-5 years of accounts payable processing or related procurement/purchase order experience required.Experience working with an ERP system, SAP preferred.SKILLS:
