APN and PA candidates must meet the following requirements:

Master’s degree in nursing (MSN of MS) or NCCPA certified PAACLS and PALSDEAWork 36 hours2 years Emergency Department or IC experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse or PA requiredCurrent State of Illinois Registered Nurse license or IL PA licenseCurrent State of Illinois Advance Practice Nurse license and a collaborative practice agreementCurrent CPR Certification issued by either the American Heart Association or Red Cross
