Job Description Role Overview: Join a dynamic team of over 900 Advanced Practice Providers (Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners) at MSK, where you'll play a vital role in delivering compassionate, expert, and comprehensive cancer care. We’re looking for an APP to join our HMS Medicine service, caring for patients with Head & Neck, Melanoma, and Sarcoma cancers. In this high-acuity medical environment, you’ll collaborate with top physicians and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional, patient-centered care. This role offers the opportunity to implement and evaluate evidence-based standards, participate in groundbreaking research, and contribute to innovative patient education and clinical support programs. With a rotating schedule of days and nights, you'll be at the forefront of oncology care, making a lasting impact on patients and their families. Key Qualifications: + Graduate from an accredited PA program + Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges + Related National NP certification + NCCPA certification + Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure + A minimum of 2 years Inpatient Medicine or related clinical experience + BLS certification and ACLS certification Core Skills: + Skilled at anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders. + Highly efficient and able to multitask while caring for diverse patient populations. + A strong and effective communicator. + Approachable, relatable, and comfortable working with diverse groups of people. + Adaptable and flexible, adjusting approach and demeanor in real-time to meet shifting demands.
