Join us and we can make a difference together. **About the role:** The primary responsibility of this position is to lead advance manufacturing engineering projects. To do this, the successful candidate must have a strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes and project management. As a technical expert, you will be responsible for the manufacturing process design, technology, and equipment selection for complex and challenging projects. **Role** **Responsibilities** **:** + Manages overall project requirements, engineering, reliability, logistics, coordination of different teams, evaluation measurements, and other disciplines for large or complex projects. + Coordinates equipment selection, control engineering, industrial engineering, organizational studies, and project management. + Monitors budgets, cost, effectiveness, and reliability of activities and make recommendations to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and ensure that standards are met. + Manages work-processes, optimization methods, and risk management tools for large or complex projects. + Researches, evaluates, and recommends investments or changes in technology, resources, procedures, equipment, systems, or other assets to improve the quality of the organization's systems products and services. + Provides analysis for the decomposition of customer specifications and system level requirements into sub-system and piece part requirements and makes recommendations for the generation of verification criteria and plans for the requirements. + Work with Product engineering to define product roadmaps and establish/manage project plans, schedules, and resources to meet milestones and objectives. + Partner with Operations to ensure deliverables integrate into their systems within the overall product release schedule. **Basic** **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 7+ year professional experience in engineering projects, OR advanced Degree with 5+ year professional experience engineering projects. + Ability to travel nationally and internationally up to 30%. **Preferred** **Qualifications** **(assets)** + Experience working in HVAC manufacturing. + Complex project management experience. + Ability to lead cross functional teams. + Experience in safety and environmental regulations. + Proficient with CAD + Skills to communicate technical issues across functions. + Experience in Quality tools. + Lean or six sigma experience. + Basic understanding of capital project finance. + PLC programming experience is a plus. **Additional** **information** **:** + Sponsorship is not supported for this position.
