Advanced Lead Design Engineer will be a part of the Advanced Mechanical Design teams, responsible for the mechanical design activities of various module and components for the next-generation engine programs and relevant technology demonstrators, execution of design review cycles/ hardware releases and test support for the technology demonstrator rigs, Ground Test and Flight Test Demo engines.
We are looking for design engineers to work on following domains:
Rotors (blisks, disks, shafts)
Structures (cases, frames)
Compression and Turbine Systems (blades, vanes, shrouds)Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:
Execute the design of parts in technology demonstrator programs leading/performing component/assembly level design assessments for engine hardware in accordance with the required best practicesWork closely/efficiently with global teams performing module and component level design adhering to business standards, practices, procedures and product/program requirementsContribute and adhere to daily management routine, standard work activities and work aligned with KPIsWorking closely with technical leadership, develop a project plan establishing work packages, milestones, objectives in accordance with program scheduleDocument lessons learned and ensure continuous improvementRequirements:
BSc and/or MSc in Mechanical or Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited college or universityAt least 8 years of experience in mechanical component design engineeringExcellent command of written and spoken EnglishDemonstrated analytical and problem solving skillsDemonstrated skills, familiarity or ability to learn CAD modelling and simulation toolsStrong cross-functional teaming, coordination and communication skillsHighly motivated, self-starter who is passionate about inventing the next generation of aviation technologyDemonstrated accountability, ownership skills and diligence in meeting commitments within tight and fluctuation schedulesAbility to guide and influence othersDesirable Qualifications:
